    TOAS (Tour Operator Association of Sundarban) is an association of tourism traders based in the Sundarbans, operating since 2006 to safeguard the interests of local businessmen. It's noteworthy that this organization obtained official registration from the Divisional Labor Department in Khulna on 02/09/2020, bearing the registration number 2404.Since its inception, the organization has been pivotal in fostering eco-friendly tourism within the Sundarbans.

    Awareness Competition on the Sundarbans Successfully Held among Primary Students

    On 10th July 2025, the Tour Operator Association of Sundarban (TOAS) successfully organized an engaging and educational awareness competition among the students of four government primary schools - Kalikabati, Prafulla Kumar, B.K. Borobak, and Laudob Banishanta. Despite several days of continuous heavy rainfall and rough weather, 56 out of 60 selected students participated spontaneously, demonstrating their deep enthusiasm and dedication. The young participants showcased their creativity and awareness through vibrant drawings of the Sundarbans, thought-provoking essays, and an interactive quiz competition focused on Sundarbans wildlife, biodiversity, and conservation.

    More than just a competition, the event served as a vital awareness campaign to instill environmental consciousness and love for the Sundarbans in young minds. A special documentary video on the Sundarbans was screened at the end of the event, enriching the students' knowledge with real-life visuals and stories from the world’s largest mangrove forest. The program was graced by the presence of TOAS President Md. Moinul Islam, Vice-President Md. Al-Amin Liton, General Secretary M. Nazmul Azam David, and other executive members. Headmasters from all four schools and several local and national journalists were also in attendance, making the event more impactful and far-reaching. TOAS extends heartfelt thanks to all teachers, guardians, and supporters who made this meaningful event a great success.
